  • Development of LTE PHY UL features related to UL Scheduling, UL POWER control, DL-HARQ procedure, Uplink Control Information, CSI feedback and RACH procedures, and PUSCH, PUCCH, SRS, PRACH channel controls based on 3GPP specifications for LTE (Advanced).
  • Development of TX Antenna Selection and RX Antenna Selection features and algorithms for LTE Mode.
  • Development of PHY control procedures concerning Multi-SIM, Carrier Aggregation, DR-DSDX features.
  • Development of L1 Engineering Mode features which include customer and internal requirements for Modem Layer1 KPI’s.
  • LTE L1 TX module ownership:
  • Responsible for discussing and finalizing new feature and enhancement requirements, finalization of feature design and the timeline for feature development, thus impacting the LTE UL UE-Capability for MediaTek Modem Projects.
  • Responsible for overall module maintenance, being point of contact for the module and distribution of module related tasks amongst team members, supporting specification standards team for 3GPP CR discussions on LTE TX features and others.
  • Responsible for timely delivery of all development tasks for the module
  • Auto-analysis tool development for automated LTE L1 issue analysis which reduced time and manual effort required for log analysis by 30%.
