About

At GitHub, I helped build things for (and with) people who build things as a product manager and Engineering Manager and Director. At 18F, I worked as product lead on one of the highest impact projects, the National Background Investigation System, and led a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product managers, and acquisition specialists to help improve the way government agencies work with vendors to build software. At Base Directory, I am responsible for building and maintaining the website and mobile applications (iOS and Android), maintaining our business relationships, and the company's financials. Base Directory is a web and mobile application providing information to service members, their families, retirees, government civilians, and more. Base Directory allows anyone on any base to find the information they're looking for, from movie showtimes to phone numbers and hours for base establishments. I am also interested in finance and health care. I passed all three Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams and the Series 65, and I served on the board and finance committee of Colorado HealthOP, Colorado's Health Insurance Cooperative set up under the Affordable Care Act.
