About

I have received Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in the field of Computer Vision. My research involved utilizing machine learning-based techniques for user video summarization. The objective of video summarization is to select important parts of the video into a shorter video called a video summary. I'll be interested in working on projects related to Image/Video Processing, Pattern Recognition and Video Analytics.

  • The team worked on developing a firmware for sensor chip. The chip contains a variety of sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, light etc.) controlled by a low power processor. The low power processor will be used for fetching sensor data and processing, whereas the high power processor will be in sleep mode. This setup will help to run context sensing applications which require continuous sensor data. As the high power processor is not involved with sensor data acquisition the stand by time of the device is increased.
