I build design systems that engineers can implement without translation. At Finacle Wealth Management, I made a deliberate architectural decision — naming every design token to mirror Tailwind CSS class conventions and mapping the entire component grid to Tailwind's spacing scale. The result: design-to-development handoff friction dropped to near zero. That system now has 100+ production components, built from scratch, with sole Figma edit access maintained throughout — 8 designers consumed it as users, never as editors. I've independently delivered enterprise design systems for Medtronic surgical e-commerce — 50+ components across 6 months, including a condensed Japanese layout variant designed for high information density — and for Truist Bank, scoped and executed from the ground up for enterprise financial services. Contributed to Toyota's Supplier Self-Service platform and led UI architecture across global B2B and B2C platforms. Earlier in my career I designed back-office enterprise UI for HSBC and a life-critical interface for a Medtronic hemodialysis machine — built for gloved-hand operation by nursing staff under strict clinical and regulatory constraints. A structured A/B testing initiative on Ann Taylor's product pages reduced bounce rate by 9% — one of the few quantified UX outcomes in retail UX work.
