This study is about the bank to turn (BTT) missiles explaining the constraints and complexity
associated with them.
The objective is to minimise circular error with vertical hit angle on the target. Hence, there is a
requirement of an improved guidance scheme for BTT missile to meet all constraints without
jeopardizing performance.
An improved Augmented Proportional Navigation guidance scheme is identified and checked over
3 DOF hyper-velocity vehicle model to achieve miss-distance of few meters with vertical hit angle
to the target.
