I started SmarDen in 2018 with no clients, no funding, and one stubborn belief, that India deserved smarter homes and smarter industries, and that someone needed to build the infrastructure to make that happen. That someone turned out to be me. I was in my third year of Electronics & Communication Engineering when I first got obsessed with IoT. Not the buzzword - the actual potential. The idea that a sensor, a microcontroller, and an internet connection could change how a home works, how a cold room gets monitored, how a factory floor gets managed. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I built SmarDen. Today, SmarDen operates across three verticals: → B2C Home Automation : converting ordinary homes into smart homes with retrofit switch boards, mobile app control, scenes, scheduling, energy monitoring, and voice control via Alexa & Google Home → B2B Industrial IoT solutions : custom platforms for cold chain monitoring, energy management, sewage treatment automation, smart resort room control systems, and society management for builders and RWAs → SaaS IoT Platform : an MQTT-based cloud platform with real-time dashboards, REST APIs, mobile SDK, and developer tools used by businesses and IoT developers across India. We've shipped products internationally, been recognised under Startup India and MSME, and our team has delivered projects ranging from a 1200 Flat Society to an IoT-based sewage treatment plant for zero-waste infrastructure.
