About

Backend engineer by training. Distributed systems obsessive by choice. I'm the kind of engineer who'd rather spend three days understanding why a latency spike happens than patching over it. Four years deep at TestMu AI grew from intern to Lead Member of Technical Staff building Go backend infrastructure that powers real-device testing at scale. I stayed because the problems kept getting harder, not easier: distributed scheduling, concurrency puzzles, cross-platform mobile chaos, systems that break in interesting ways. Lately, I've been living at the intersection of backend engineering and AI. Wiring LLM APIs into production workflows, designing systems where language models actually do engineering work classifying failures, triggering remediation, replacing toil. Not the AI hype version. The "this genuinely saves engineers hours every day" version. What I'm curious about next: agent architectures, LLM-powered dev tooling, and how much traditional backend orchestration can be offloaded to language models before production starts filing complaints. Outside work, I travel whenever I can. I think engineers write better code when they don't live inside their IDE best debugging ideas come at 30,000 feet anyway.
