I build and scale businesses into core revenue drivers. I began my career at JGC Corporation in 2006 as an engineer, working across information systems, project management, and global IT strategy. In 2011, I joined Recruit Co., Ltd., where I worked on service and product planning, development, and operations in real estate and housing. I also led new business and R&D strategy. After business development leadership roles at several companies, I joined PLAID, Inc. in 2017. As an Executive Officer, I led business development, product management, and alliances. I grew KARTE Datahub, a data integration platform, into a core revenue driver, contributing to PLAID’s listing in 2020. After stepping down in 2022, I continued to support PLAID as an external advisor and worked with portfolio startups including IVRy, Inc. and VideoTouch, Inc. In 2023, I joined IVRy, Inc. as VP of Business Development. I led new business development around its conversational voice AI SaaS, drove commercialization across SMB and enterprise segments, and grew its AI voice interaction business into a major revenue driver. These initiatives contributed to business growth and cumulative fundraising of JPY 10.61 billion. In 2026, I returned to PLAID, Inc. I currently lead mid- to long-term growth initiatives focused on AI, drawing on my experience in scaling businesses and developing enterprise markets. In parallel, I support SaaS and AI startups as an external advisor and angel investor.
