• Embedded firmware development for proprietary hardware Root of Trust SoC's deployed to Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Implemented secure boot, secure update, key revocation and security related firmware features.
• Implemented PKI based DICE attestation to establish trust with the SoC via a trusted certificate chain.
• Designed and developed the RMA (Return Material Analysis) feature for the SoC so that Manufacturer can resolve any defects in the SoC. Implemented token-based authentication mechanism to ensure the controlled state transition of the device to an RMA device.
• Integrated SPI/OSPI flash and I2C/SMBUS drivers. Added support in application firmware for new OSPI flash devices.
• Worked with single core and multi core systems. Developed an understanding of the Linux kernel and OS distributions.
• Worked on inter processor communication frameworks such as IPI and RPMsg.
• Define the manufacturing workflow of the SoC right from manufacturing to deployment in fleet to ensure required security is enabled in the SoC. Defined clear responsibilities for each stage of manufacturing.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for my team using Azure DevOps.
• Create and Manage solutions using Orchestration as a Service (OaaS) framework for troubleshooting our deployed products in Azure's hardware fleet. I was recognized for bringing down the team's livesite incident count by 30% and creating the initial automated workflows that helped the team meet livesite goals for several semesters.
