I work at the intersection of finance, policy, and sustainability, building bridges between the United Kingdom, the wider West, and India. As Director-General and Trustee of the International Centre for Sustainability (ICfS), London, I lead an independent research and advisory organisation that fosters deeper alliances on sustainability, democracy, and global governance. At ICfS, I work with government officials, business leaders, and institutions to shape strategy, unlock market access, and enable international cooperation. Previously, I spent over 12 years in private equity, healthcare, and strategic leadership, raising close to £900m across three funds, executing multiple growth capital fundraisings, and delivering successful exits, including a sale to large-cap funds. These experiences taught me that while capital can transform industries, lasting change requires trust, culture, and vision. Alongside my work in finance and policy, I am the author of Hedgewar: A Definitive Biography (Penguin, 2025), with further works in development on how ideas evolve into mainstream truths and how sustainability can be redefined through the lens of systems-thinking.
