• During my tenure, I have had the opportunity to assist Hon’ble Ms. Justice Jyoti Singh and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma across different rosters. My responsibilities included conducting legal research and preparing briefs for the matters listed before the Court & maintained voluminous files and notes of arguments for the Hon’ble Judges’ reference. I also assisted in drafting of orders and judgments.
• While working with Hon’ble Ms. Justice Jyoti Singh, who served as the Judge-in-Charge of the Original Side of the Delhi High Court, I gained exposure to a wide range of matters including arbitration and conciliation, civil suits, writ petitions, education matters, and intellectual property disputes involving trademarks, patents, and copyrights as we as select service matters and election petitions.
• With Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, whom I assisted during two separate tenures (March 2022 – June 2023 and Sept. 2024 – April 2025), I worked on matters pertaining to tax, arbitration, IPR, education matters, and civil appeals. I was also involved in cases concerning the MCD, sexual harassment, matrimonial disputes, MTNL disputes, land acquisition, and matters involving Members of Parliament, ED, CBI and labour law issues. The Judge also heard appeals arising from tribunals such as the DRT, DRAT, AIIFR, BIFR, and Lokayukta.
• In September 2022, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma was appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act Tribunal constituted to review the ban imposed on a political organization and its affiliates. For this Tribunal, I conducted research on the constitutional validity of the UAPA Tribunal, attended regular proceedings, recorded evidence during hearings conducted across various states for the chief and cross-examination of witnesses, and assisted in the preparation of the final inquiry report concerning the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) under the provisions of the UAPA.

• Labour & Employment Law
• I advised on workforce structuring strategies, focusing on contractor and gig worker classification, and ensured compliance with employment-related statutes. My responsibilities included drafting employment agreements, NDAs, and codes of conduct, as well as revising leave and HR policies in alignment with legal updates and best practices. I conducted internal compliance audits under the POSH Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, and Factories Act, and managed employee grievances, wrongful termination claims, and sexual harassment cases. I also led negotiations involving severance packages and voluntary retirement schemes in compliance with industrial relations law.
• Regulatory Compliance & Data Security
• I advised on compliance under the DPDPA 2023, GDPR, and other global data privacy laws, and worked cross-functionally to draft data processing agreements and consent frameworks. I issued legal opinions on OSP registration, outsourcing rules, and sectoral regulations (TRAI, SEBI, RBI, IRDA), and supported SquadRun’s debt recovery process, including arbitration and MSME Act proceedings. I partnered with finance on internal audits, cap-table compliance, and supported tax matters like transfer pricing. I also led the legal groundwork for setting up SquadStack’s UAE entity, including ADGM licensing and FEMA compliance.
• Contract Management
• I centralized contract processes, introduced SOPs for negotiation, and managed the lifecycle of SaaS contracts across industries such as BFSI, E-commerce, and EdTech, ensuring compliance and operational clarity.

• I provided end-to-end legal support to clients in the technology services sector, including drafting, vetting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and legal notices. I have also advised clients on legal compliance issues and reviewed internal policies to ensure alignment with applicable regulatory frameworks. I also assisted several foreign entities in establishing their subsidiaries or sister concerns in India, offering comprehensive legal guidance on corporate structuring and statutory requirements.
• My work has involved in-depth research and advisory on corporate governance matters, including the procedural and substantive requirements under the Companies Act, 2013 and the applicable Secretarial Standards.
• In the domain of litigation, I was involved in drafting Special Leave Petitions and appeared before the Supreme Court of India in matters involving criminal and property law. I have also appeared before the High Court of Delhi in writ petitions relating to domestic violence, and assisted in the preparation of pleadings and case strategy.
• I have experience in intellectual property matters, particularly in drafting and reviewing trademark infringement notices. My research also included regulatory issues such as the validity of prescriptions under Ayurvedic regulatory guidelines and the dispute resolution framework under NIXI
• In the insolvency and bankruptcy domain, I have drafted brief notes and assisted in the preparation of legal documentation relating to approval of Resolution Plans. I have also worked on Status Reports filed by RPs before the NCLT, and drafted Intervention Applications under Section 60(5) of the Code. My research has covered critical aspects such as the role of the Committee of Creditors and the statutory framework governing resolution processes, valuation methods and fundraising approaches relevant to distressed assets and insolvency proceedings.
