My responsibilities included conducting legal research and preparing briefs for the matters listed before the Court & maintained voluminous files and notes of arguments for the Hon’ble Judges’ reference. I also assisted in drafting of orders and judgments.
  • While working with Hon’ble Ms. Justice Jyoti Singh, who served as the Judge-in-Charge of the Original Side of the Delhi High Court, I gained exposure to a wide range of matters including arbitration and conciliation, civil suits, writ petitions, education matters, and intellectual property disputes involving trademarks, patents, and copyrights as we as select service matters and election petitions.
  • With Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, whom I assisted during two separate tenures (March 2022 – June 2023 and Sept. 2024 – April 2025), I worked on matters pertaining to tax, arbitration, IPR, education matters, and civil appeals. I was also involved in cases concerning the MCD, sexual harassment, matrimonial disputes, MTNL disputes, land acquisition, and matters involving Members of Parliament, ED, CBI and labour law issues. The Judge also heard appeals arising from tribunals such as the DRT, DRAT, AIIFR, BIFR, and Lokayukta.
  • In September 2022, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma was appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act Tribunal constituted to review the ban imposed on a political organization and its affiliates. For this Tribunal, I conducted research on the constitutional validity of the UAPA Tribunal, attended regular proceedings, recorded evidence during hearings conducted across various states for the chief and cross-examination of witnesses, and assisted in the preparation of the final inquiry report concerning the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) under the provisions of the UAPA.
