Akanksha Rani — Software Engineer
I’m Akanksha Rani, a recent engineering graduate and an early-career software engineer . I’ve gained hands-on experience through internships at Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM, where I worked on production-grade systems—from automating ML model refresh pipelines and integrating backend APIs to developing analytics dashboards used by global teams. As a contributor to The Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger project, I also enhanced open-source UX, deepening my understanding of collaborative and scalable development. My research in applied ML, deep learning, and generative models, especially in healthcare, has been published on IEEE Xplore and Google Scholar. Beyond tech, I led with purpose—serving as Chairperson of IEEE IGDTUW and mentoring STEM students through initiatives supported by Google Generation Scholarship and Palantir Women in Tech Scholarship. Now, I’m looking to leverage my skills in AI/ML, systems engineering, and cross-functional collaboration to build ethical, scalable, and intelligent technologies that make a real-world impact. Let’s connect if you’re working on something exciting at the intersection of AI, systems, and impact.
