• Maintain key data reports daily: Compile and update important data reports on a daily basis. These reports may include inventory levels, stock movements, material usage, and other relevant metrics.
• Supervise daily store activities: Oversee the daily activities of the stores, including material receiving and material issuing ledger posting in the ERP system. Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized environment in the stores. Implement regular cleaning schedules, proper waste disposal, and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment.
• Maintain regular cycle count stock: Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Physically count a portion of the stock on a periodic basis, identify any discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
• Put-away completed under the shelf code: After receiving materials, assign proper locations for storage based on a shelf code system. Ensure efficient use of space and easy retrieval of items during picking operations.
• Generate pick lists and pick materials from the UPC: Create pick lists that specify the items to be collected from the inventory to fulfill orders or requests. Retrieve the listed items from inventory using their unique product codes (UPCs).
• Implement material handling system & FIFO/LIFO/FEFO: Establish and maintain an effective material handling system. This includes defining procedures for handling, storing, and transporting materials. Implement inventory management methods such as FIFO (First In, First Out), LIFO (Last In, First Out), or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) to optimize stock rotation.
• Control consumable material excess consumption: Monitor and regulate the consumption of consumable materials. Ensure that material usage aligns with predetermined norms and standards, minimizing waste and excessive consumption.
