• 1. I worked on code refinements, build pipelines, documentations and at the same time, brought myself upto speed with product work. this included getting myself familiar with product and codebase.

• 2. Designed and Automated test framework for the product saving significant testing cost by optimising it and highly reduced manual overseeing through automation.
• Once started, it would execute all tests without any needed intervention.
• Once completed, also conducted knowledge transfer to a colleague.

• 3. DRI workflow scenarios - for automated notification to issue/bug page with relevant information for debugging.
• This was a add-on feature for internal issue/bugs tracker.

• 4. Architecture design for a distributed systems project - this was being done to remove dependency on other teams and reduce time of certain workflows
• I only mentioned this to one of the managers 2-3 months earlier

• 5. Cloud and UI work - these were internal cloud and UI related work to make user specified changes to UI to make it more user friendly and add certain features to reduce user work along with some cloud work to target certain users for certain features, this also involved some automated tests.
• Used : C# Powershell ADO Azure, APIs
• 6. I had the vision of an automated startup system, which will take users from ideation to execution and market launch phase, obviously using Microsoft's infra, which I termed as "Azure Startup Corner".
• Got to learn in days to come that Microsoft got into some deal with Y Combinator
• 7. Mentored people at same location and cross country teammates for testing and API Service work
• 8. Apart from all this, have given Microsoft more than 10 ideas, and saw those ideas in real world taking shape

• Disaster recovery which encompasses both infrastructure and data recovery of the whole deployment.

• I handled this whole work on my own, all the more, detected, specified, and fixed gaps with what was earlier discussed with Architect
• Change data flow to time series database.
• Data getting stored to two different databases was creating inconsistency which needed to be resolved
• I handled the Spark work here and Scale tests

• Resiliency based project to make services available for customers in case of outages.
• This work is classic fault-tolerance work
• I helped in conceptualising the architectural design and created the initial design documents.

• Test Driven Development
• Worked a bit on this, as part of this created test cases for UI pages. I handled 50% work of what was there while collaborating with other teammate.
• Desktop Probing
• Providing customer with probing support for Desktops so as to find the issues before hand when they are spawning desktops for the use. Owned UI part of work.
• I handled UI work mostly and took care of certain APIs(may 50%) of them with a bit of Guidance
• Technologies : React, C#, Teamcity, GitHub
• This also involved coming up with test cases and bug bash
• Helping other team fix their feature bugs
• This was same team whom I helped with Java GWT to React transitioning, this time helped them with UI bugs which were in React
• Data Analytics
• There was a trouble shooting product Citrix Director, which was receiving a lot of data from vms and providing trouble shooting details to customers along with other details. This was storing a lot of data which could turn to Gold.
• Citrix Analytics Service was another data analytics based product, which was using the data of Citrix Director to provide the analytics reports.
• I initially handled the work of instrumenting data from one product to another making use of Event Hub and Kafka. This was a huge scale, the whole thing took around 3 months.

• I also handled Scale testing at millions of events which involved simulation and passed through same route to checking the counts.
• The whole transfer was taking around 15mins, so, there at that time, could have been 15min lag, mostly due to the connection being used.
• As part of this, I also created mock tests in C#
• Customer centric feature work to provide certain analytical details for the user.

• Customer centric feature work to enable creating export functionality with layered Architecture in Java based Codebase both UI and BackEnd.
• Technologies used : Java GWT, C#
• This also involved preparation of test cases, and bug bash for identifying any upgradations
• The earlier codebase was in java GWT, which was getting deprecated, and also there were better alternatives to speed up Front-End development work. This led to migration of UI GWT codebase to React.
• In this, handle a lot of restructuring and passing correct and valid values for the proper functioning of pages. I also curated the proper set of changes needed for other feature work for other teams to use.
• Debugged lots and lots of bugs, got to learn a lot through this :
• 1. DB backups
• 2. Exponential backoff of APIs incase of request not getting serviced
• 3. Lots of UI bugs - in react and related to frames and making pages within frames work while passing correct values from Java GWT side
• 4. End to end debugging, starting APIs to getting to proper methods servicing those requests to data getting stored in database
• 5. got to learn a bit about security in context of user identity
