• Remote Viewer is a system that transmits DV streams from IEEE1394 over IP. It is an application for sending and receiving DV (Digital Video) streams using the Internet. It works on MacOSX. IEEE1394 (Firewire) cables are used for connecting DV equipments. Using Remote Viewer, DV data can be sent anywhere using the Internet.
• Remote Viewer is an Internet Protocol based high quality real-time audio visual (AV) communication tool. The AV devices having IEEE1394 interface are connected to the IP host with its interface.
• DV equipments are connected to a PC using IEEE1394. The PC is connected to the Internet. The PC connected to the DV camcorder sends DV data via the Internet to the receiver PC.
• The DV data is sent over the Internet using RTP (Real-Time Transportation Protocol).
• The DV/RTP packet format consist of an isochronous stream packet of DV is simply encapsulated with RTP/UDP/IP.
• Worked on the broadcasting side, capturing the live data from the source and sending to the network.
• DV Media Pro is a Video Capture and Editing (VCEP) Software specifically designed for Dragon Camcorder. It is an interface between the Samsung camcorder and the Host. It has following modules:-
• Live video/audio capturing through USB 2.0 and IEEE1394 Firewire and rendering on the monitor.
