• Hughes Software Systems was deploying Broadband Satellite Service to RSCC, Russia with capability of supporting Virtual Network Operator, with a goal that RSCC can resell bandwidth to smaller VNO’s. My role in the project was testing of NMS for supporting Virtual Network Operators, in an Agile development environment. I was responsible for Test plan development and execution for test cases for NMS system using REST APIs, by utilizing REST Client in Mozilla browser.

• NMS for the network was developed in a fast paced agile environment, to meet large set of requirements using multiple COTs tool along with in house developed tools in Java as a Web GUI on Tomcat/Apache deployment. My role was Integration testing of Network Management System especially in areas of Configuration Management, Logging Management, Inventory Management and Automatic Provisioning (TR-69). I was responsible for test plan development and execution test, bug reporting, scenario regeneration and bug reproduction to pin point the problem area. Tools involved were IBM Trivoli Netcool Configuration Manager, Provisioning Manager, Syslogs, Splunk, SNMP Traps, SOAP UI, Axiros ACS (TR069).
