• TeamToq is an enterprise class communication app for iOS, Android and web. TeamToq offers APIs in the form of REST services that can be used by other applications from the enterprises to send notifications and messages to the users. The USP of TeamToq is its ability to take user actions from within TeamToq mobile app based on the message from the enterprise application.
• The application involves mobile applications consuming REST services along with web based front end.
• The entire system was architected to use AWS components such as RDS, autoscaling, SES, SQS and S3.

• i'm working as an Architect for Wolken Service Desk, a new user friendly, web based, multi-tenant, config driven service desk software.
• I built the first version of the product by myself and helped scale the engineering team to over 10 developers including full time employees and contractors.
• I've worked on all parts of the product including the front end, core business logic, data modelling and DB schema design. I've also added integrated Mule ESB into the product for integration with client systems and handling of asynchronous backend jobs.
• My responsibilities include high level architecture of the application and building certain features of the product.
• This application has been deployed and run used with multiple databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL) and on different cloud service providers like Savvis, AWS, IBM Softlayer and IBM Bluemix and in a hosted model in customer data centers. I've been involved in bringing in QA automation and bug tracking system, automated build and deployment systems for Dev Ops of the product.

My duties involved adding new features in QBO specific to Singapore and Australia and also working with the marketing team and supporting them in creating a new marketing and reseller program in Malaysia and Philippines.

• I've worked in payments division of Intuit and in QBO.
• In the payments division, i got the opportunity to learn the domain of credit processing and helped build systems to support Intuits card processor business. In this field i got to work on SOA, workflow and document management systems and mule as an ESB. The system was designed to orchestrate the calls to different systems ranging from document repositories to main frames.
• As part of the QBO team i am learning the domain of small business accounting and specialising in the tax calculation engine. Technically i work across all layers of the application ranging from Javascript (including Dojo as a framework), Spring DI to inject the biz logic classes and the database and offline jobs trigged through cron jobs and other scheduling engine. I also worked on internationalising and localising the product so that it can be used in different locales and languages.

• I was working in Infosys on a system that mined customer’s spending data and found patterns in it. These patterns were then used to determine which offers would be most pertinent to the customer. My task specifically was to write data transformation scripts using Syncsort to sort through and process large amounts of data, which was fed to the BI engine.
