• SellerSquad for Marriott Homes & Villas (HVMI Platform)
• As part of the SellerSquad team for the Homes & Villas by Marriott platform, I contributed to implementing the push model for onboarding sellers onto the HVMI platform. This platform is responsible for managing seller-facing microservices to handle property listing data, including property descriptions, amenities, length of stay, pricing, nightly pricing, cancellation policies, and more. The application uses CQRS patterns, leveraging Couchbase and Elastic Search to optimize read throughput.
• My key contributions included:
• Implemented microservices that exposed REST endpoints for sellers to manage listings, amenities, fees, and taxes.
• Created a workflow model to facilitate data approval, ensuring seamless integration of new listings.
• Led the migration of existing listings from the Booking-Pal platform to HVMI, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Developed a Jenkins job to automate the addition of migrated listing data, streamlining the process.
• Designed and implemented a microservice for listing approval, enabling sellers to efficiently manage their property listings.
• Escapia Integration – Marriott International, USA
• In this project, I contributed to onboarding Escapia Inc. properties onto the Marriott Homes & Villas platform, implementing a pull model for the ingestion of properties.
• Key contributions included:
• Developed several microservices to pull listings from Escapia and integrate them into the Marriott eCommerce platform.
• Created an adapter to convert Escapia’s payload into the seller-side equivalent format for seamless data integration.
• Implemented a retry mechanism based on HTTP status codes, ensuring reliable and fault-tolerant property ingestion.
• Built a mock service for PSST (Property Synchronization Service Tool) to simulate real-world integration scenarios.
• Developed a passthrough API to handle property reservations and cancellations, ensuring smooth transaction flow on the platform.

• I had the opportunity to work on two impactful projects, both focused on enhancing data systems and automating testing processes.
• Customer Realtime Data Services:
• This project aimed to create a centralized platform that encourages customers to self-identify with every purchase, serving as the core data hub for various systems.
• My contributions included:
• Writing unit test cases using JUnit and Mockito to ensure high-quality and reliable code.
• Setting up AWS alerts and dashboards to monitor system performance and trigger timely notifications.
• Developing Jenkins jobs to automate the execution of test suites, ensuring efficient and consistent testing.
• Automated Data Migration Functional Testing Framework – McDonald’s USA:
• This project focused on automating functional testing for data migration processes, with a scalable framework adaptable to any data migration project (ETL processes being a key example).
• My contributions included:
• Developing various target and source adapters to support different data formats and migration scenarios.
• Building a parameterized Jenkins pipeline to enable efficient functional testing, optimizing both testing speed and scalability.
