1.Developed Extra Trees Regressor to predict the appliances energy consumption of a
certain building in Belgium using periodic sensor data available from the building and
the local weather reports data and obtained R2 score of 89% on test data.
2.Engineered attributes themed across the hourly session, external weather, internal
temperature, and humidity to capture patterns that affect the energy consumption and
performed techniques such as Chi-Squared tests to find the correlation.
3.Performed dimensionality reduction using PCA, feature selection through Lasso Regressor, and carried out hyper-parameter tuning using Bayesian optimization.

Cardiovascular Risk Prediction

1. Developed an SVM and XGBoost model to predict the 10-year risk of CHD for patients
and obtained a Recall score of 82% and 74% on train and test data respectively.
2. Engineered a new class of attributes themed across person lifestyle, past medical
records, and geolocation to carefully identify risk-prone individuals and chi-squared and
ANOVA test to find the correlation between categorical and continuous variables.
3. Performed missing value imputation using KNN-Imputer, implemented Random
Oversample to oversample the minority class observations, and carried out hyper-
parameter tuning using Bayesian optimization and 5-fold Cross-validation.
