About

I’m a technology executive, data scientist, and artificial intelligence & machine learning (AI/ML) leader whose career has followed the frontier of emerging technology and data. As Chief Technology Officer at Amgen, I lead enterprise technology capabilities across AI/ML strategy and engineering, data strategy and engineering, data governance, digital product management, software engineering, and user experience design. My work focuses on bringing modern technology leadership to the discovery, development, and delivery of innovative medicines; using AI, data, and software to accelerate scientific insight, strengthen operations, and help serve patients with greater speed and impact. Across my career, I’ve built and led global technical organizations through major shifts in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital products, and enterprise-scale technology transformation. Before Amgen, I led global insights, analytics, data science, AI/ML, and membership organizations at Nike, including work across digital commerce, consumer growth, personalization, marketing and measurement science, supply chain optimization, forecasting, and enterprise operations. Earlier in my career, I led measurement science and data partnerships at Facebook (now Meta) and developed early large-scale data science capabilities at Google. Across these roles, my work has centered on translating emerging technologies into practical impact at scale: building teams, platforms, governance models, and products that help organizations understand complex systems and act on them. I’m also committed to inclusive leadership and responsible innovation, and I’m passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, including LGBT+ storytelling in film.
