• Currently helping the next generation of data scientists find their footing in R. As a lab TA for the Intro to Data Science course, I lead weekly lab sessions where we turn messy data into actionable insights. My focus is on making R approachable, from basic syntax to complex data visualizations, while supporting students through their first major data projects.

• Leading initiatives to enhance the academic and social experience of international graduate students through strategic programming and advocacy. As an elected member of the GSGA Executive Board, I:
• Serve as the primary liaison between international graduate students and university administration, advocating for policies that address the unique challenges faced by our global student community
• Develop and implement a comprehensive peer mentorship program connecting incoming international students with experienced peers to facilitate cultural and academic transition
• Collaborate with the International Student Office and Career Services to create specialized workshops on CPT/OPT regulations, US workplace culture, and global career development
• Organize cultural exchange events fostering meaningful connections between international and domestic graduate students
• Establish efficient communication channels ensuring international students have timely access to critical resources and information
• Represent the diverse needs and perspectives of international graduate students in executive board decisions and university-wide committees
• Apply data-driven approaches to assess international student needs and measure the effectiveness of support initiatives
