About

I’m a Senior Engineering Manager at Instacart, leading three teams (org size ~30 engineers): Home, Search and Product foundations (focused on dev experience) within the Shopping organization. My teams span Backend, Web, iOS, Android, and embedded MLEs, owning the customer experience across personalized feeds, cross-retailer search, and ranking systems that power Instacart’s core engagement and revenue surfaces. I partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and ML leadership to drive OKRs around growth, affordability, and personalization. Previously, I was an Engineering Leader at DoorDash, driving Consumer Growth through App Clips and New User Experience. My distributed team delivered large-scale product impact by meeting customers where they are—across Maps, web, and app surfaces—through fast, scalable, and conversion-optimized experiences. We drove >$1B in GTV with various growth initiatives. Beyond product execution, I’ve led hackathons, engineering excellence programs, and patent initiatives, and I’m passionate about building teams and systems that enable engineers to do their best work. I thrive at the intersection of technical depth, product growth, and leadership, transforming ambitious ideas into measurable impact. Prior to DoorDash, I was a UX Tech Lead in Azure CXP, where I led a team of six engineers to deliver customer-facing tools and infrastructure, including a unified app framework for Azure applications. At Azure Identity, I played a key role in driving GDPR compliance across multiple teams. Earlier, I worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems on the Cloud Collaboration Team, managing configuration with Docker and Ansible and developing UIs with Angular and TypeScript. At iCiDIGITAL, I worked on MongoDB, Spring, RESTful services, and Java, earning an Employee Recognition Award for my contributions to a Fortune 500 project. Outside of my day-to-day role, I mentor and coach engineers and managers through platforms like Prepfully and Eastbadge, which helps me stay sharp on hiring signals, interview calibration, and industry expectations.
