About

I am Banothu Bapuji, an M.Tech scholar in VLSI System Design at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad, with a CGPA of 9.75. My expertise spans Analog IC Design and Digital Physical Design, covering the complete semiconductor design flow from transistor-level circuit design to full-chip ASIC implementation. Currently, I serve as Lead Physical Design Engineer under the Government of India's Chips-to-Startups (C2S) program, working on an Image Dehazing Accelerator in SCL 180nm technology. I have independently executed the complete RTL-to-GDSII flow, including synthesis, floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, ECO implementation, timing closure, and DRC/LVS signoff using industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Genus, Synopsys Design Compiler, PrimeTime, ICC2, and Siemens Calibre. My analog design experience includes the development of high-performance Bandgap Reference circuits, ultra-low dropout regulators, and CMOS operational amplifiers. Key achievements include a 0.27 ppm/°C Bandgap Reference with >150 dB PSRR, a cryogenic space-grade Bandgap Reference published by Springer, and a capacitor-less LDO accepted at ICTIS 2026. My research contributions include publications in Springer and Elsevier journals, IEEE and Springer conference proceedings, a Springer book chapter, and two filed Indian patents. I am passionate about semiconductor research, analog and mixed-signal IC design, ASIC implementation, and advanced VLSI system development. Beyond research, I have mentored students and researchers in VLSI design, IC implementation, and technical publication development, helping bridge the gap between academia and industry. I am actively seeking PhD opportunities, research collaborations, and academic or industry roles in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design, Physical Design, ASIC Development, and Semiconductor Research. 📧 bapuji2214@gmail.com
