• As a tech lead, I led the team and took the ownership to execute a highly efficient power factor correction SMPS for aircraft using SEPIC topology. The design improved the external light life time and reduced the power consumption. The converter operates with 115 VAC, 400 Hz and it generates 40 v DC for commercial aircraft exterior taxi light.

• Handled the design ownership of power products which includes the ups, inverter, frequency converters & smps, especially power factor controller (PFC) and STATCOMS (Harmonic filter and VAR compensators), using the DSP controller (TMS 320 &TMS 320 LF2407A) as well as Analogue controller. Designed and executed frequency converters, amps and various custom built power supplies. Experienced in the controller logic design using analogue and DSP's. The work involved in the design of various digital and analogue circuits for signal conditioning, sensing circuits for the temperature control and various chip selection for the control applications.
