The project was titled "Impact resistance of CFRP products". During the thesis, I conducted extensive research to try and improve the impact resistance of CFRP products.
During the project, I manufactured and tested tubes made using prepregs. Drop mass tests were conducted, followed by a 2 point bending test to estimate the residual strength after impact. I was in contact with several partners and customers to collaborate in finding the best solutions for impact.
