Strato is designed to be cloud vendor-agnostic, meaning it can work with multiple cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. It provides a unified interface for interacting with these providers and can even migrate data between them.
As part of my role on the project, I worked on the Low-Level System Design (LLD) and implementation of a microservice that queries metadata of buckets and objects from different cloud vendors.
To improve performance, I also implemented a caching strategy using Redis.
The major tech stack of the project includes Golang, Docker, AWS-S3, MongoDb, Redis, gRPC, and Khafka.

Senior Software Engineer

UGO is a schema migration tool for databases, deployed as a SaaS solution in Huawei Cloud. The tool allows for one-click migration from various source databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, and Db2, to target databases such as PostgresSql, and MySQL. Some of the notable features of UGO include pre-migration analysis, migration of application-embedded SQL, and support for GaussDb, an in-house database solution. The main tech stack of the project includes Java 8, Spring Boot, ANTLR4, and MySQL.
In this project, my role was focused on the parser and migration (conversion) modules. I was responsible for developing and delivering high-quality code, adapting unit test cases from Junit4 to Junit5, and ensuring the success of over 80% of the migration process.
