I've spent the last year building data pipelines at Cisco and running ML experiments at Bayer and I'm just getting started. At Cisco (Bengaluru), I spent 13 months as a Data Analyst working with SQL, Python, and A/B testing frameworks to surface insights from network and operations data. I learned how messy real-world data is, and how to make it useful anyway. Now I'm a Data Scientist intern at Bayer (Leverkusen), where I work on data modelling, ETL workflows, and visualization, building the kind of analysis that feeds decisions in a global life-sciences company. Working at the intersection of biology and data, in a second language, in a different continent, has been the fastest growth curve of my life. In parallel, I'm finishing my MSc in Data Science at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Germany, where I get to apply what I learn in lecture halls to what I'm already doing in the office the next morning.
