  • Developed firmware for a cloud-connected IoT device using Micropython. The device has the capability to send important sensor data to a server once or twice a day using NB-IoT/Cat-M network from remote locations and go into an extreme power-saving mode for the rest of the time. It is also capable of changing its behavior according to the user's needs and do an OTA without needing any physical interaction. The device runs on two 3.7V battery and the expected runtime is more than 5-7years. MQTT is used for the underlying communication protocol.
  • Contributed to the design and debugging of the daughterboard PCB, which contains all the auxiliary circuitry necessary for sensor interfaces and controls of the whole the unit.
  • Also, Implemented basic server-side code in python to test the system.
