Hello! This is Aasritha, currently pursuing a Master’s in Information (UX Design and Research track) at the University of Michigan and serving as a Design Management Fellow at the Center for Academic Innovation, where I help lead projects that integrate design thinking into academic solutions. My hands-on experience spans various roles, from being part of the product design team at Exly(YC-19) - enhancing growth feature analytics, to improving onboarding processes and community engagement at Yocket. As an architect, I’ve contributed to large-scale projects, drafting construction drawings and developing national-level presentations. I’m skilled in tools like Figma, Adobe Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), AutoCAD, Rhino, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, and Python. Whether it’s wireframing, prototyping, or usability testing, I thrive on using design to solve problems and improve user experiences. Outside of my academic and professional roles, I've volunteered with Bhumi’s Tech4Change UI/UX team, applying my design expertise to create impactful solutions for underserved communities. My goal is to continue blending design, technology, and strategy to create meaningful, user-centered solutions that drive impact across industries. I leverage my design expertise to translate complex information into clear and concise visuals, ensuring users can easily navigate and interact with the product. My experience in UX research allows me to gather user insights and translate them into actionable design decisions, ultimately leading to a more positive user experience.
