Media Ranker Integration - Led the India team effort to improve the visual experience at scale in the Amazon site by integrating image defects detected with Amazon’s Media Ranker system which determines the ranking of images based on which business decisions can be made like whether to show the image on the website, if image defects are more we should display it at the bottom of the page etc. Designed the end-to-end high-level and low-level workflows of the system and coordinated the launch between 3 teams as tech lead. This system has processed more than 500 million images till date.
Attribute Extraction Platform(AEP) enables extraction of catalog attributes from various sources (e.g., images, pdf brochures, and website links) provided by Selling Partners and generate Amazon-specific templates for listing products at Amazon. Authored various high-level and low-level design documents and implemented the end-to-end workflow for various plugins using AWS services like Image based product type Classification, Amazon M@ Template generation, and Image defect detection and refinements in AEP workflow, etc.
Easy Catalog on Seller Central - Worked on the backend implementation of launching AEP system using AWS VPC endpoint service and cloud authorization mechanism directly on Seller Central as a feature called Easy Catalog for a certain cohort of Sellers to generate Amazon catalog template. Implemented various client-facing APIs for the same.
