About

Hi! I’m Adithya, a Software Engineer who cares about building software that’s usable, reliable, and actually moves the needle for the people and businesses it serves. I believe code is the medium—but understanding why we’re building and how users adopt it is the work. At Virginia Tech, my thesis explores how AI can support learning without replacing it. I’m building an AI tutor that integrates with a secure-coding practice platform to deliver context-aware hints instead of direct answers. Under the hood, it combines prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, software engineering, and AI/ML techniques. I’ve had the privilege to contribute to impactful work—from my time at Fidelity, where I learned the discipline of delivering at scale and keeping CI/CD green, to my time at Marriott, where I turned a proof-of-concept into a service other teams could actually integrate with. Those experiences taught me to start with the problem, design for reliability and iteration speed, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to land software that actually gets used. I also try to stay active through hackathons, conferences, talks, and open-source experiments to keep myself up to date. I’m eager to connect with peers, researchers, and industry professionals who are building the future of software engineering, AI, and intelligent systems.
