About

Currently working with the Equities Quantitative Trading & Research team at J.P. Morgan, leading portfolio trading efforts in particular on index rebalance predictions, flow estimation, portfolio sizing, factor risk analysis amongst other things. Before this was mainly involved with cross-regional equities electronic trading - main areas of work included alpha signals for algos and order book placement engines. Previously led the equities electronic and portfolio trading quant team with Barclays in Mumbai, with the US market being the primary focus. Was responsible for managing and initiating various projects covering SOR (Smart Order Routing), algorithmic trading strategies, portfolio trading analysis and market microstructure within the team. Before this worked with Citigroup Global Markets, as a functional head of the Equities Quant Analysis Team wherein my role dealt with electronic execution analysis and strategy. The market coverage was global, encompassing all of APAC, North America and EMEA. It involved quantitative analysis of clients' electronic platform executions (i.e. TCA), statistical testing and predictive modelling, using appropriate machine learning techniques. In general, an avid quant enthusiast, with special inclination towards machine learning and game theory. I also enjoy staying involved with economic analyses from time to time. I enjoy reading, swimming and playing racquet sports.
