Akriti Sood — Software Engineer

I am looking forward to the opportunities to contribute in the field of software, wireless communication , Data Science and other exciting technologies. My current role as a Software Engineer in Qualcomm technologies demands strong technical skills of Operating System, triaging, Driver development and programming. I have always been interested in programming, Computer Science and Technology which motivated me to pursue B.Tech from MSIT. I joined Infosys Chennai post my graduation and worked there for around 1.5 years, Being my first company, I learned a lot about work ethics, team structure and leadership. Working there, I learnt different tools like Informatica, Cognos, Python, Tableue, SQL. Working along, I felt the need to acquire higher education and attempted GATE in the year 2017. I got admission in IIT Roorkee. Those two years in Post Graduation proved to be a whole different experience. The course projects, assignments , internals gave a huge boost to my subject knowledge. I did my 2 months internship from Qualcomm in 2018. Post that, the last year was spent in Masters thesis on Edge Assisted Reliable Data Processing for Landslide Early Warning System. I am an employee at Qualcomm Bangalore working under Windows Team since then . Throughout these years, I have been an incredibly hardworking candidate who has acquired strong grasp in technical knowledge as well as in soft skills such as teamwork, creative thinking, public speaking and more. I am open to job profiles which are different from my current role at Qualcomm. It should be exciting with a lot of potential for me to grow and learn something new and different.
