I was born in Malaysia, moved to Singapore in my twenties and spent 15 years living in London. Those years gave me a rich blend of professional experience in insurance and banking, and a deep cultural perspective, learning how people live, work, and lead differently across the East and the West. When I turned 40, life threw me a few curveballs all at once: a redundancy without compensation, a health scare and a divorce. It felt as though my world had turned upside down. Yet in that chaos, I found clarity and realised something deeply important: 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞. We all face seasons of change: some unexpected, others long overdue. What we need most is a circle that understands.
