Design strategist in multi disciplinary fields of design and a qualified Industrial organisational psychologist. I am always hungry for knowledge and excited about meaningful psychology related work. My focus is the user and my approach is human centred, I excel in creating strategies, conducting research and expert at analysing human behaviour. My soft skills is active listening, empathy, conflict resolution, talent spotting, motivation, communication and interpersonal skills along with reading and writing comprehension. My design background in interiors makes me an intuitive person in considering the psychological needs of the user when designing spaces/ products. As interior /space design is a domain of environmental psychology, my design creation are functional with simple aesthetics with every interaction within the space being strategies to promote mental wellness. My core expertise are color psychology, anthropometric, user experience, lighting and up cycling products. My experiences with strategy design in multi disciplinary fields was a gold mine to harvest my design thinking skills. It gave me opportunities to work with different industries in agriculture-agro goods, food processing, tourism, interiors, education, printing, rural organisations and hospitality. This gave me flexibility to learn about new industries, accommodate new ideas, challenges and value in cultivating team work and cross functional collaboration. From my experience, I conclude that problem solutions are business opportunities and good user experience are business drivers. Therefore, my research approach is user-centred with central focus on human behaviour values such as emotions, memory and cognition. Key skills is deep study on cognitive behaviour, human behaviour analysis to develop strategies- for problem solving and new product development. My entrepreneurial journey has been the most challenging of all but nevertheless I learnt everything I needed to know about administration, accounts, finance, management and sustaining in this journey. Did the most thinking, applied all my skills and knowledge and yes got reality check every now and but then It gave me clarity on setting expectations and achieving goals. Challenging but I will do it all over again for the thrill of it!
