About

I have lived a career that has taken me from the Special Forces to the corporate boardroom. My journey began in the Indian Army, serving in some of the most demanding theatres of operation, from the Kargil War in 1999 to United Nations peacekeeping in Kashmir and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Fourteen years in conflict zones shaped my resilience, sharpened my judgement, and gave me a truly global outlook through work and travel across more than 20 countries, including Russia, Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia, and North America. Been there: Special Forces veteran, international peacekeeper, Chief Security Officer in aviation, Head of Automation and Loss Prevention. Done that: Led C-suite security and safety functions, managed high-stakes crisis responses, directed counter-terrorism operations, and delivered large-scale digital transformation in security. Developed and implemented enterprise security risk management frameworks, conducted complex audits, and coordinated across agencies and jurisdictions to protect people, assets, and reputation. Skilled at: Leveraging AI and data for digital transformation, designing and deploying advanced security automation technologies, from intelligent video analytics and biometric access control to intrusion detection, RoIP, and technical surveillance countermeasures. Experienced in aviation, cargo, and supply chain security, insider threat mitigation, policy advocacy, stakeholder management, executive protection, CPTED, and building high-performance teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, underpin my ability to align diverse stakeholders and deliver results. Still learning: AI for business, cybersecurity, personal brand building, copywriting, and the PhD I am pursuing in Defence and Strategic Studies. Fitness, golf, and writing remain perpetual works in progress. What connects all of this is a mission-oriented mindset, the Special Forces habit of setting clear objectives, adapting quickly, and achieving results no matter the environment. That mindset continues to drive how I lead teams, deliver projects, and create value today.
