• Was in charge of building backend services for the Home Services vertical. This involved creating a cataloging solution that can incorporate 20+ different service categories and provide dynamic pricing for each of them. As part of this, took charge of creating and maintaining integrations for the discovery and fulfilment of these services.
• For the Catalog Management team, I was involved in the design and development of software which makes our inventory of around 4 million structured and unstructured SKUs accessible to the design partners and other business stakeholders.

• Worked on a project titled "Office Document Automation", a software package developed to perform mail merge and generate multiple similar documents from a template MS-Office document. The idea was to develop a cross-platform, user-friendly and highly extensible tool which can be accessed and used easily by anyone having an Internet connection.
• The software is based on a three-tiered architecture, with full separation of concern. I designed the architecture of the product and worked on the implementation of the core module. The implementation was designed keeping software design patterns in mind, and test-driven development was practiced throughout the project.

• Worked on a project titled "Shortest path problem in multi-attribute graphs: A Pareto optimal approach". Designed and implemented an algorithm to find out the shortest path(s) between two nodes of a graph, in a multi-attribute scenario. Used the algorithm to simulate a capacity-constrained system, with several loads being transported from one node to another. Designed and implemented a module to find out the optimal route(s) to be followed by each load.
• Combining the two modules, worked on a full-fledged data set of the Kolkata Municipal Area to solve the problem of routing several loads of hazardous waste from one point of the city to another. Successfully tested the algorithm on real-life parameters. This software package is now being used for research purposes at the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, IIT Kharagpur.

• As a co-founder of the website, was responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the same. Managed a team of authors and assigned roles and duties to them on a daily basis, maintaining two-way communication. Also, set up the site using WordPress and added several functionalities to the same.
