• A lot of people find hindrance to order food and beverages at cinemas during interval, primarily because of the following reasons:
• One needs to stand in long queues.
• There is always a chance of missing the movie.
• Often the choice is between going to the washroom and ordering food.
• Cinemas lose a lot of potential customers because of the above.
• Our Solution :-
• Released on-premise food ordering application using signal processing, Bluetooth beacons for presence detection. Our app AtCouch allowed a user to order food any time during the movie. As soon as a user places an order, it would show up on the manager app provided to cinemas. Users had a variety of payment options, like debit/credit cards, net banking, different wallets like Paytm, Mobikwik and Cash On Delivery. Native iOS and Android apps of the final product transferred to a leading cinema chain in India.
