My HR journey began as an intern at RMESI, where I gained hands-on exposure to the core pillars of HR—recruitment, operations, and learning & development. This foundation sparked my interest in people practices and set the tone for my career ahead. Moving to Africa was a turning point in my journey. It opened doors to hiring talent from across continents and working closely with culturally diverse teams and stakeholders. Each role I closed came with its own set of challenges, and over time, I found myself thriving in fast-paced, multicultural environments—building strong talent pipelines and contributing to teams that were as global as they were dynamic. Later, at SE-Mentor Solutions, I found the opportunity to not just hire, but to shape the way we hire. I built and mentored a passionate team of recruiters, introduced streamlined processes, and helped bring structure to both high-volume and niche hiring. Alongside recruitment, I stepped into the heart of employee engagement—introducing initiatives that foster connection and a sense of belonging. Through initiatives like employee resource groups, buddy programs, and CSR activities, we've built a sense of belonging and purpose among our team members. By prioritizing inclusivity and diversity, we've cultivated a culture that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect.
