• I thought that humanity's biggest problem was the climate crisis, so I went to work for a climate insurance start-up.
• Directly reporting to a co-founder, I developed new products for the company:
• Led company-wide effort to implement a Generative AI (Gen-AI) productivity platform. Implemented several prototypes powered by Large Language Models (LLM).
• Spearheaded the global extension of the proprietary stochastic cyclone risk model, critical for more than $500M of risk. Model uses Python, Pandas, PyTorch.
• Managed a team building a tool to estimate global warming’s impact on frost risk using weather data, xarray, and PyTorch. Subsequently launched a new frost insurance now generating over $1M of revenue.
• Launched a Natural Language Processing (NLP) parser built on a distilled BERT model from the HuggingFace Transformers library to automatically create qualitative datasets from a large unstructured database.

• Built a state estimation Machine Learning model for an exoskeleton helping disabled people to walk.
• Developed a TensorFlow 2 optimizer that recreates the robot’s trajectory from incomplete sensor data.
• Results achieved in 6 months exceeded the team’s expected results for 1 year of development.
• This model became standard practice, is still in use, and mostly unchanged as of 2022

• Saint-Cyr officer cadet school : military tactics, shooting training, strenuous exercises and physical effort, sleep deprivation. Leading teams of 8 fellow cadets through exercises.
• Joined the drills and operations of elite paratroopers, obtained the military Paratrooper license.
