I worked on automatic ambient light cancellation in AFE4420 (TI IC for heart rate monitoring applications) using digital signal processing of data from sensor.
Studied the existing method and proposed approaches to optimize it along with mathematical justifications.
Designed a pseudo model of the digital logic on MATLAB for simulating the proposed approaches and comparing results against the existing model.
Verified the results by replicating the model on the actual device (AFE4420) by using MSP430 microprocessor and evaluation module.
