• Growth Markets Product & Engineering drives PayPal's focus on Brazil (BR), Japan (JP), Mexico (MX) and India (IN) respectively. As part of Enabling, maintaining and improvising Customer excellence for these markets, the team delivers solutions by collaboration (inner source as a delivery model) across various domains within PayPal. Getting our teams to deliver solutions for Brazil PIX, Open Banking for Brazil are some of the initiatives that helped me to understand and cater to the market expectations in Brazil. It is a huge learning curve for one within PayPal to have opportunities to cover E2E of domains along side with the Platforms and infrastructure augmentation.
• Further on the platform stability charter (KTLO), for these markets, the motive of "Customer First" with technology expertise by leaning on qualitative observability, mitigation of blockers to enable seamless customer experience, improvisations on branded/ unbranded solutions, Voice of customer enhancements gives me and my team lot of opportunities to unlearn/learn Problem solving techniques, innovative technological optimizations, Functional paradigms, Customer empathetical mindset, Collaboration engagements.

• The replatforming into reactive backbone using custom akka framework, the construction of REST orchestration into the new infra framework, Separation of concerns where the notification lifecycle was isolated from transaction life cycle and Ramping the whole traffic into this new platform with building some significant features to setup Dual controls, Venmo Payouts, third party Payouts, Engaging users on Soft limitations by spontaneous notifications thereby increasing incoming TPV flux, NNA improvisations, Large File processing of Payouts in Millions (2.1M in less than 15 hours asynchronously) are some of the opportunities that led me and my team to have a wonderful learning curve in terms of technology and business.

• It was great opportunity for an individual contributor to be one of the core teams that contributed for PayPal's indigenous Payouts platform (MassPay).
• Killing Legacy:
• While Masspay was in sustenance mode, it was an unique and very lucrative opportunity to understand and move the traffic to the new REST platform in PayPal. While doing so, there were opportunity for optimization of solution that is implemented in place. Orchestrating the REST API into the messaging queue infrastructure to achieve scale if not for multiple X but to reach 2X at a given time, was a wonderful learning. Throughout there was also a necessity for improving Java programming skills as PayPal was leading towards reactive platform.

• Regional Solutions for EMEA. For EMEA markets, as an individual contributor was involved with requirements discussion with various region product owners, solution approach for the arrived problem statements, vetting it with multiple cross domain architects and inner sourcing wherever required. This Phase helped me to develop my skills of C++ programming and got an opportunity to peep into JAVA.
