I didn’t get interested in data by learning tools first — I got interested by trying to explain why numbers didn’t match. During my BTech in Computer Science at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (2021–2025), I started working with real datasets where simple questions like “Why did revenue increase but collections didn’t?” required digging through messy tables, validating logic, and connecting multiple data sources. That problem-solving aspect is what pulled me into data analytics. I’m currently working as a Data Analyst Intern at FloBiz, where I analyze business and sales data to support reporting and decision-making. My work involves writing SQL queries to reconcile counts and amounts across systems, identifying data gaps, and ensuring metrics like bookings, accruals, and revenue align logically. I spend most of my time turning raw tables into clean, explainable insights that teams can trust. Alongside my internship, I’ve worked on analytics projects that include data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and insight generation using SQL, Python, and Excel. I enjoy breaking down complex datasets, questioning assumptions, and building clarity where data initially looks inconsistent. I’m now looking to grow as a Data Analyst, where I can work on real business problems, improve data reliability, and help teams make better decisions using data — not just dashboards.
