• During my time as Deputy Project Manager at Gujarat First, I had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects in the broadcast and digital media space. One of my main responsibilities was overseeing the integration of Grass Valley equipment into our studio setup, which included multi-camera setups, PCR and MCR installation, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arose.
• In addition to broadcast integration, I was also involved in the development and implementation of digital streaming systems and playout applications. I led the team in designing and implementing network interfaces, ensuring smooth and reliable transmission of audio and video content. I also oversaw live video conferencing and studio setups, as well as the control of PCR cameras and audio and video switchers.
• One of the highlights of my role was being able to work on the application development strategy for digital media at Gujarat First. It was a challenging and rewarding experience, and I learned a lot about the importance of developing scalable, user-friendly applications that meet the needs of both our team and our audience.

• As a Senior Broadcast Engineer at Star TV Network, I was responsible for a wide range of activities related to broadcasting operations. During my time there, I led the installation of a new channel, Star Sports, and was responsible for the setup of the studio, installation and configuration of audio and video equipment, and ensuring that all live events were managed smoothly.
• One of my main responsibilities was MCR (Master Control Room) control, where I was responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all play-out equipment. I also set up, operated, and maintained broadcast station computers and networks, ensuring that they functioned properly and met the high standards of the network.
• In addition, I scheduled programming and read television programming logs to determine which programs were to be recorded or aired, and installed broadcast equipment while troubleshooting any equipment problems and performing maintenance or minor repairs using hand tools. I also monitored broadcasting operations to ensure that signals were functioning properly and programs were ready for transmission.

I also had to set up and operate links between studios and OB units, and edit live programs as they were being transmitted or recorded.
• Another important part of my job was to test and service equipment, and find and repair technical faults as quickly as possible with minimum loss of service. I worked closely with a team that included producers, studio managers, and presenters to ensure that the content was delivered seamlessly.
• In this role, I honed my technical skills and learned to work effectively as part of a team. It was a challenging and fulfilling experience that allowed me to contribute to the success of The Sandesh Limited's broadcasting operations.
