Chandan currently leads the Pan India Marketing of Tata Steel Wires Division while also taking overall P&L responsibility of 3600 Crore business with 360 Crores EBITDA. Chandan got promoted to RSM Role /IL3 at the age of 29 years , making him one of the youngest Heads in Tata Steel. He manages 0.2 Million Tonnes of business per annum translating to 1800 Cr INR ( $200Mn Dollars) of revenue and spearheads the Southern India Region - Largest region by value and volume in India for GWI, Tata Steel .He leads a team of 6 Sales Managers and 5 associates directly - shaping their careers. He has experience of managing customers in the Automotive sector (MRF, TVS ), Infra Segment - (L&T) and B2C segment. Chandan in his previous role of Senior Manager Sales, manages the retail and institutional business of Global Wires India, Tata Steel , in Gujarat - a 150 CR per annum business entailing retail sales of Wire Products, Insitutional segment sales to SMEs and Gujarat Power and Electricity sector. Under his leadership, Gujarat has emerged as the fastest growing territory by clocking 14000T in retail sales and emerging as the number 1 territory in India He started his career in Tata Steel in 2018. As a 23 year old young professional posted as Manager Sales - Eastern Region operating out of Patna, He was responsible for the retail channel sales of Jharkhand, Bihar , North Bengal and North East. He transformed the retail business by clocking GMV growth rates of 60% and revenue growth of 45% in 3 years.
