About

Hi! I'm Daksh I'm a software engineer in love with coding to solve real world challenges, working primarily in mobile and web development. Throughout my career and personal projects, I have come to experience working with all aspects of web development. Working with HTML/CSS and Javascript frameworks like React (https://sharmarajdaksh.github.io is built on it) is now second nature. Most of my professional experience has been working with backend technologies. I started out in a DevOps role with boosted my understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (like Jenkins), and also allowed me to practically understand the utility of Cloud providers (AWS and GCP). I also learned the massive benefits of working with Code-first approaches such as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes (yaml-based configuration). Containerization and Docker remain my favorite innovation in the tech domain in recent times. As a full-time Backend software engineer, I was exposed to working with fully loaded frameworks like Django (Python) and Express (Node.js), developing REST APIs, performing optimized CRUD operations, and working with scale in mind. Hopping between multiple projects at once allowed me to develop the ability to quickly compose myself and adapt to new technologies. I also got practical experiences of getting projects started from scratch and taking them all the way to their final destination, the cloud. In my personal time, I love to explore every technology I find interesting. Java Spring and Golang are my current favorites, and I'm hoping to explore Scala soon. As an absolute nerd, I love talking about tech. You can read my blogs at https://sharmarajdak.sh/ and feel free to reach out any time on LinkedIn!
