• Here are my contributions to building DP World's Cargoes Runner solution and eCommerce platforms Dragomart(B2C), and Dubuy(B2C):
• Invoice Service (Billing Ecosystem) :
• Developed a spring boot invoice microservice with PostgreSQL database. Actively worked to develop invoice, credit-note, and proforma feature APIs to create invoice and credit notes for closed bills.
• Ecommerce Shipping:
• Worked on the new shipping feature to show shipping rates and delivery timeline for Dubuy. Integrated DHL, FedEx, and SSL(In house) as the shipping providers and call for pickup feature to generate tracking information. Worked on integrating new packaging services to optimize packaging and shipping rates for our end customers.
• Integrated new vendor JD, SSL Air, and SSL Ocean for NodeJS Rate-Engine microservice.
• Ecommerce Shipment:
• Developed proposed shipment generation(master and part/piece shipments) feature, integrating selected shipping providers to proposed shipments, and conversion of proposed shipments to physical shipments for Dubuy.
• Ecommerce Search:
• Integrated Azure Cognitive Search and Autosuggest to achieve search-driven listing, category, manufacturer, and vendor pages. Integrated features like facets, filters, sorting, pagination, and semantic search. It enhanced the user engagement and pageviews for our platform.
• Set up the infrastructure to support multi-tenancy for the search service with diff stores for diff environments support. Developed scheduled tasks at the e-commerce end to push daily catalog updates to search engine via Azure Service Bus. Performed detailed performance benchmarking of search service.
• Learning:
• With the hands-on development experience of end-to-end flow, I better understood technologies and tools like Spring boot, Java, ASP.NET Core framework, C#, Nopcommerce, Node JS, Azure Cognitive Search, Postgresql, MS SQL Server, Kubernetes architecture, Docker, and Azure.

• Here's my contribution to building & maintaining a hybrid mobile application:
• Created Declarative Pipeline Job for the SSPDR project through Jenkinsfile and added steps to generate signed apk, app bundle files, and sign the ipa with iOS distribution certificate & private key. Automated the release process to upload Jenkins artifacts to Apple App Store Connect, Microsoft app-center, and Browserstack for UAT.
• Prepared activity UML diagrams using the PlantUML tool to demonstrate the Jenkins build-agent set up, development environment set-up for SSPDR project on Jenkins build agent, and SSPDR app release process for Android & iOS.
• Mentored 1 intern and demoed him working on the SSPDR project, technologies & software used for the SSPDR project like Browser-stack, App-center, and management tools like Jira, and Confluence.
• Promoted within a 6-month timeframe for exceeding goals.
• Improved user experience by reducing the time to download and view the documents (PDFs) in the Android app by incorporating the use of the native file storage system of a device, fetching the pdf only if it is updated & removing the outdated pdfs from the native storage of the device.
• Migrated project code to the latest version of frameworks(Ionic 5, Angular 8, iOS 13), Doubled the test code coverage percentage to 36%, analyzed the app performance using Android profiler (Android Studio), and reduced the app startup time by ~40% and in-app navigation time by ~60%.
• Complied a detailed maintenance plan to keep the hybrid app up to date focusing on iOS and Android OS, Ionic, Cordova & Angular frameworks, software libraries, plugins & external dependencies upgrades. Presented the app maintenance plan to Director, Head of Sales & Vice President, Head of Professional Services, FactSet Research Systems.

• Developed a hybrid mobile application with a team of 3 developers targeting iOS (10.84K+ users acquired) and Android (2.44K+ users acquired) platforms built with the Ionic framework to track the performance of the S&P 500 Index and eleven ETFs (exchange-traded funds) based on it. Performed the app testing on Browser-stack, Android Studio emulators, XCode simulators, and user acceptance testing using AppCenter & HockeyApp. Managed project using Git & Jira software for app development, priorities & deadlines. Optimized the UI, design and component layouts for tablet devices.
