About

I'm an experienced engineering manager at Disney, where I lead multiple product squads in a fast-moving JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS environment and drive how my organization adopts AI — the tooling, the standards, and the engineering culture that determines what sticks and what wins. After years of leading teams through change, I've become convinced that the intangible skills on a team like trust, judgement, and creativity are what unlock a team's best work and their optimal value contribution to business. That conviction is the foundation of The Human Work, a newsletter where I write about human-centered leadership in the age of AI. AI is a magnifier, and when you lead from where you are, you're a multiplier. I talk about how to recognize leadership at all levels, and how critical it is to our success adapting to work and life with AI. Whether the conversation is about building great software solutions or how we build AI with human flourishing in mind, I'm always glad to connect with people who care genuinely and like to think and talk about new ideas.

The human work

Author & Speaker

Mar 2026Present · 3 mos

  • The Human Work is a publication and leadership framework built on a single conviction: the future belongs to leaders — and people — who are more human, not less.
  • I write and speak about the human side of leadership in the age of AI — for leaders navigating one of the most significant workforce transformations any of us has seen, and for anyone who wants to lead more honestly, more courageously, and more humanly from wherever they are.
  • The Human Work is built around six pillars — from the Shadow of the Leader to the courage required to see clearly, lead without fear, and show up for the people in our care during a moment that asks everything of us.
  • The newsletter publishes biweekly on LinkedIn. Speaking engagements available for leadership conferences, corporate events, and round table discussions.
  • Be True.
