• Software engineer in a contractor role participating in development of large patient portal / public facing web application written in C# ASP.Net MVC. Developed code using a variety of supporting technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Ninject, Handlebars.js, AppFabric, and KendoUI controls. We followed a very mature Agile Scrum SDLC supported by TFS 2012 for source control, user story documenting and prioritizing, task documenting, and facilitation of code reviews. We utilized BDD unit testing leveraging the Moq library to achieve code coverage. Integrated with Microsoft's HealthVault application and heavily utilized their sdk to provide enhanced functionality and to do authentication (OAuth2).

• Led engineering on various projects from leveraging ASP.NET MVC (C#), JQuery and Razor to BizTalk integration efforts, all with a particular focus on n-tier / enterprise-level design on Microsoft platforms, and largely utilizing XAML-based UI frameworks (WPF and Silverlight). Matured use of MVVM pattern for UI development and evangelized overall OOP design principles (e.g. S.O.L.I.D. / GoF / Inversion Of Control, Active Record, Singleton, Factory D.R.Y., etc.) Deeply involved in BizTalk integrations with some large Oil and Gas applications like Peloton products (WellView, SiteView, and RigView), Microsoft Dynamics (aka Solomon/PCSLandman), and custom-written line of business applications. Delivered a fair amount of ETL integrations using SSIS and built reports using SSRS.

• Operated in capacity of a lead software engineer and software architect, which entailed leading engineering delivery while setting architectural direction for the software projects I was accountable to deliver, and for designing / evangelizing the architecture on similar projects for other teams. This was for a financial services company and the deliverables involved a strong focus on security (using cryptography of various sorts and network design), high availability, and interfacing with both internal legacy mainframe systems and external financial entities (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
