About

I’ve spent the majority of my career leading people, building teams, and helping others grow into roles they once thought were out of reach. After more than 8 years in multi-unit leadership as a District Manager, I transitioned into entrepreneurship—building a successful career helping jobseekers position themselves, tell their story, and land opportunities in a competitive market. Through that work, I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of professionals, building a community of over 135,000+ on LinkedIn, and earning 500+ recommendations from individuals who trusted me with one of the most important moments in their careers. But along the way, something became clear… I didn’t just enjoy helping people get jobs—I missed being in the environment where I could develop teams, create experiences, and lead from the front. That realization led me to make a very intentional decision: to transition into hospitality as my long-term career path. Today, I’m proud to be part of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, where I am focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting team development, and growing within a world-class luxury brand. This is not a short-term move—it’s the foundation for my next chapter. At the same time, I continue to share insights on LinkedIn to help professionals navigate their careers more effectively. Not as a primary focus, but as an extension of what I’ve always been passionate about—helping people succeed. Because whether it’s a guest experience or a career journey, the impact comes down to the same thing: Understanding people, showing up with intention, and delivering at a high level.

The fear of confidence

Author of The Fear of Confidence by David Alto

Jan 2021Jan 2026 · 5 yrs · Kennewick, Washington, United States

  • "Have you ever heard of anyone writing an entire book in just under 6 hours, me either? At least not until today 10-21-2020.
  • When you have nothing to do on a 6-hour flight home from Orlando to Seattle, along with no wi-fi and the emotions and feelings that are still so very real from that "traumatic" experience from less than 24 hours ago, I guess you do in fact write a book.
  • Each and every time we get knocked down is an opportunity to learn and grow and this is what I hope you learn from reading my story.
  • Our failures do not define us...but what we do when we fail allows us to flourish."
